How To Play

You are ready to play after purchasing the Smart Net Set and downloading the Free Pass and Shoot App

The Smart Ball Net is your target for soccer games and training drills and interacts with your smart phone.

First watch the Instruction Video for the drill and then choose your preferences of play and connect the net.

The App will direct your play by telling you when to Pass, Juggle, Trap the Ball or Shoot, and will also track the Time and Records all the Scores.

When the game is finished you and your fellow players will get the match results and scoring statistics with your highest score stored on The App.

For the ultimate game play experience you can cast the game onto a Smart TV .

In the new features to our App, you can choose a free or paid training drill and view the drill on the screen while you are playing or practicing. The drill will play every 6 seconds and you can even upload your own or your coach’s drills to view while you are playing and practicing.

Pass and Shoot is for people of all ages and skill levels and will improve your soccer skills quickly!

The App

The App is essential for both the action game and the table top game and is available for free download. After downloading the App simply open it on your phone or mobile device and choose your preferred game mode. We suggest you start with the basic penalty shoot out game to become familiar with the App and game set. There are 3 different game modes to choose from and you can also choose from drills created by players or make your own drills that will play on the screen during play.

Ready to Start? Visit a tutorial for the game, see the game instructions or go ahead and start the game.

For Pass and Shoot and Juggle and Shoot, you can choose a drill to play or upload your own.

After you choose your game mode you need to select if you play by yourself or if you play against another person or team (Left vs. Right).

You then select a difficulty level from the app menu , either Amateur, Semi Pro or Pro.

Then you select the duration of the game, distance from goal and number of passes per Shot at goal.

You are now ready to play! Place your phone carefully in the protective phone holder and listen to the instructions and cues the App gives you. You can connect your phone via Bluetooth to a speaker or cast the Game Screen to a Smart TV.

Let’s get started on your way to becoming the next football superstar.

1) Set up the game

Create your field by choosing a carpeted area or use the football rug and place it in the area in which you want to train.
Secure the Smart Ball net with the Velcro to the carpet or rug and ensure it it is secured properly in place.
Start Playing or Training

2) Select your game and options and start playing

After downloading the Pass and Shoot App, open the App and select your preferred game mode.

A) PASS AND SHOOT MODE

This Training Mode is perfect for practicing passing and shooting skills to accuracy shoot at a target. If there are more than 2 players you will play in teams against each other and the players on each team will pass the ball between other.

Choose the Pass and Shoot Mode and select the LEFT VS RIGHT MODE followed by your desired skill level and the time you want to play. Now simply place your mobile device in the cut-out centre of the Pass and Shoot Phone Holder. Make sure to slip it under the clear protective cover with the phone screen facing up and the top part of the phone positioned under the open part. Listen to the instructions and start your game or training session.

In the AMATEUR MODE the players have 5 seconds to pass the ball either from one foot to the other or between players if played in a team and 3 seconds to shoot and score a goal. The AMATEUR MODE is recommended for beginners who are just getting into football and the players can shoot at the goal from up to 3 meters.

In the SEMI-PRO MODE the player or team has 5 seconds to pass the ball between each other or from one foot to the other and 2 seconds to shoot a goal. The SEMI-PRO MODE is recommended for those with reasonable football skills and the players can score a goal from up to 6 meters from the net.

In the PROFESSIONAL MODE they players or player is able to pass the ball around for 3 seconds and has 1 second to score a goal. This mode is for serious players with advanced football skills and it recommended to target the goal from at least 10 meters and the speed of the football must sit between 40 to 60 km/h or higher to score a goal.

Tip: If you play the Pass and Shoot Mode by yourself we recommend choosing the single player option and placing the goal in front of a wall to avoid running after the ball.

B) JUGGLE AND SHOOT MODE

The Juggle and Shoot Mode is perfect for players that wish to work on their left and right foot ball control as well as accurate passing. Players can compete against each other or try to beat their own high score.

This game option can be played by one player, 2 players or teams.

After setting up your game set and downloading the Pass and Shoot App from the game store open the App and chose the player mode, level of difficulty and the duration of the game. Now simply place your mobile device in the cut-out centre of the Pass and Shoot Foam Boar. Make sure to slip it under the clear protective cover with the phone screen facing up and the top part of the phone positioned under the open part. Check again if the goal is in a cantered position and start your game or training session.

If you choose to play as a single player we recommend switching the app to single player mode and placing the goal in front of a wall to avoid losing the ball.

If you choose to play Juggle and Shoot with 2 players or more select LEFT VS RIGHT MODE on the app and each team will need to position themselves on one side of the goal to play.

In the single player mode as well as in the multi-player game mode the players will attempt to juggle and control the ball for 5 seconds before targeting the net to score a goal.

If the game is played in teams of 2 or more people the players will juggle the ball between each other before shooting at the goal.

In the AMATEUR MODE the player or team has 5 seconds to juggle the football and 3 seconds to shoot and score a goal. The AMATEUR MODE is recommended for beginners and the players can shoot at the goal from a distance of up to 3 meters.

In the SEMI-PRO MODE the player or team has 5 seconds to juggle the football and 2 seconds to shoot and score a goal. The SEMI-PRO MODE is recommended for players with reasonable football skills and the players can shoot at the goal from a distance of up to 6 meters.

In the PROFESSIONAL MODE the player or team has 5 seconds to juggle the football and 1 second to shoot and score a goal. The PROFESSIONAL MODE is recommended for serious players with advanced football skills and we recommended that shots are taken from a minimum distance of 10 meters from the goal with the football travelling at a speed of 40 to 100 km/h or more to score a goal.

C) PENALTY SHOOT OUT MODE

As the name suggests the Penalty Shoot Out Mode is perfect for players to experience the tension and excitement of a penalty shoot out similar to a real football game.

After setting up your game set and downloading the Pass and Shoot App from the app store open the App and select the LEFT VS RIGHT mode, followed by the difficulty level and the duration of the game. Now simply place your mobile device in the cut-out centre of the Pass and Shoot Foam Boar. Make sure to slip it under the clear protective cover with the phone screen facing up and the top part of the phone positioned under the open part. Check again if the goal is in a cantered position and start your game or training session.

Penalty Shoot Out is best played in team from 1 to 10 players. Each team positions themselves on one side of the goal and take turns at shooting at the goal. You can choose a designated score and the team that reaches the designated number of goals first wins or go until one team misses to score a goal.

The Left team will start first and the players on each team take a shoot at the goal from a fixed position on the field.

In the AMATEUR MODE the players have 5 seconds to set up the football on the penalty spot they choose and 3 seconds to shoot and score a goal. The AMATEUR MODE is recommended for beginners and the players can shoot from a distance of up to 2 meters from the goal.

In the SEMI-PRO MODE the players have 5 seconds to set up the football on the penalty spot they choose and 2 seconds to shoot and score a goal. The SEMI-PRO MODE is recommended for players with reasonable football skills and the players can shoot from a distance of up to 5 meters from the goal.

In the PROFESSIONAL MODE the players have 5 seconds to set up the football on the penalty spot they choose and 1 second to shoot and score a goal. The PROFESSIONAL MODE is recommended for serious players with advanced football skills and it is recommended that shots at the goal are taken from a minimum distance of 10 to 20 meters with the football traveling at 40 to 100 km/h.

The Pass and Shoot Table Top Game

The Pass and Shoot Table Top Game is perfect for rainy days and indoors fun for children and adults of all ages. The game can be played as a single player, as a 2 people game or 4 player game (2 teams with 2 players each). If you choose to play by yourself we recommend placing some cardboard or a book behind the foam mat to prevent the ball from rolling off the table and choose the single player mode (one direction).

To play the Pass and Shoot Table Top Game place the Foam Board in the middle of the table. The players sit down opposite of each other and every player receives a Pass and Shoot Figure with which they will flick the mini football ball. Only use one mini football at the time but make sure to have all 3 in easy reach in case one rolls of the table.

Take your phone and open up the Pass and Shoot App. Now select the game mode. You can choose from:

Pass and Shoot ( Most recommended)
Juggle and Shoot
Penalty Shoot Out

Now select your skill level followed by the game time and place your phone in the middle of the foam board. Wedge a score note under the top part of the phone. Those points are the points you will be playing for. Now listen to the cues and commands given by the app to play. Only shoot when the app says “Shoot” to score a goal. Make sure to target the top of the phone where the score note is wedged in to score a valid goal. At the end of the game the App will display your results. Whoever scored the most goals wins.
